Nathalia's Christening

Nathalia's christening was sunday - and the cake was a big hit. So much so, that big sis eat the bunny and became a energizer bunny herself, and granddad kidnapped the bear & one of the ducks, which now reside on a shelf in his house I suspect!

Frederik's Buzz!

A year ago I decided to try my hand at fondant cakes and my first crash test dummy was my lovely godson Frederik - This year it's all about Toy Story for Frederik and his cousins, so the decorations on the cake had to match. Too bad Frederik no longer likes my cakes! But luckily the rest of the guests had more of a sweet tooth! To infinity and beyond................

Oliver's christening

Martin's son Oliver was christened this weekend and this is what I came up with to celebrate the special day. I looooooove Winnie the Pooh so I sooo enjoyed making this cake - I am especially crazy about Tigger and Eeyore!

This was for an intimate gathering of just four people - any excuse to eat cake I guess!

Niels' birthday cake

I have been so busy painting my apartment that there hasn't been much time to make cakes, BUT it was my "painter"'s birthday the other day, so I had to make time. Luckily he is a not a great fan of Hello Kitty or other wild ideas, so a few dots was all it took to make a really nice cake. Thank you Niels, love the paint job. I am very lucky to have friends, that are willing to help me paint, as I am not a wiz with a paint brush!
