A 'kaffemik' is a Danish word for a Greenlandic social gathering around a cup of coffee. Although Greenlanders are particularly keen coffee-drinkers, it is not the coffee itself that is the centre of attention, but instead the chance to get together and exchange news and indulge in small-talk about everything under the sun.

A year ago Filip was born, but for nine months before that, he was know only as Nemo. So now that it's the sweet boy's 1st birthday, it had to be a Nemo cake with friends and an underwater theme. I don't know the name of the little turtle, but he is by far my favourite, and I really didn't want to give him away ;o)
