Niels' birthday cake

I have been so busy painting my apartment that there hasn't been much time to make cakes, BUT it was my "painter"'s birthday the other day, so I had to make time. Luckily he is a not a great fan of Hello Kitty or other wild ideas, so a few dots was all it took to make a really nice cake. Thank you Niels, love the paint job. I am very lucky to have friends, that are willing to help me paint, as I am not a wiz with a paint brush!

Betty Boop and a wedding teaser!

I have known Tina for many, many years and her alias has always been Betty Boop - she loves everything about her! Her birthday party was a fun oppertunity to make her a cake with her idol on it!

Also I have included a picture of the top layer of the wedding cake, that I have been working HARD on for about a week. That which does not kill you - only makes you stronger, could be my motto after finishing this cake! More pictures to come once the photographer works her magic.

Christina´s ladybug

Christina is a huge fan of anything with a ladybug on it - and has recently even acquired a ladybug tattoo, so it seemed only natural that she should also have a ladybug cake!

Benedicte's cake!

Another weekend and another birthday this time for a jetsetter ;o) But the weather is so varm here that it is really hard to make cakes at the moment! But luckily one can always eat cake, no matter what the temperature might be ;o)

Johan's second birthday celebration!

So this was a whole weekend of celebration for Johan - his older brother liked this cake better than the one cars on it, much to my surprise. But I think it has something to do with the fact that he eat most of the flowers on the second cake ;o)

Christinas mum turns 50!

These cakes were a nightmare to make because of the damn heat. It took such a long time to finish and I was exhausted in the end - but they turned out okay, but not as good as I had planned. But Christina's mum was in tears, so I guess mission accomplished!

Johan turns three

Johan, or Lehan as my Godson used to say, turns three this weekend and this is his cake for kindergarden! He wanted something cool with cars! I thought I took more pictures but as it turns out this is the only one!!, but I am hoping to get some from his mum!
